I want to make alterations to my freehold residential property and I have applied for planning permission (or I do not require this under 'permitted development') what else do I need to do?

Regardless as to whether planning permission is required or obtained, you need the prior consent under the Scheme of Management to make changes to the external appearance of a property — see About the Scheme of Management.


I want to remove or reduce the size of a tree on my freehold residential property, do I need permission for this?

Yes. All tree works require prior consent under the Scheme of Management — see About the Scheme of Management.


Can I convert my freehold residential property into flats?
