The Dulwich Estate today

Approximately 1500 acres of South London continues to be looked after by the organisation which descended from Edward Alleyn's 17th century foundation. You can see that the area has a large amount of open space: gardens, parks, allotments, a golf club and extensive woodland. It also has some exceptional examples of architecture indicative of different periods of development.
