Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          Three Cypress trees approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  The trees are a little tall.

T2.          Seven Beech trees approximately 9m to 12m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden (to the rear of the Cypress trees).  The trees are a little dense and wide-spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Reduce in height by up to 3m and side growth trimmed back as much as possible by retaining green foliage and not exposing the inner dead wood.

T2.          Five of the trees to be crown thinned by 25% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height may also be reduced by 2m, however it is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.  Two trees were identified as poor quality with rather slender stems, these should be reduced to 2m high and allowed to re-generate.
