Proposal:
Species and Location of Trees
T1. A Yew tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated in the bottom right-hand corner of the rear garden. The tree is a little tall and wide spreading.
T2. A Cypress tree approximately 6m in height, situated in the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden.
T3. A Hawthorn tree approximately 4m in height, situated close to the house on the left-hand side of the rear garden. The tree is badly sited within the lawn.
T4. An Olive tree approximately 5.5m in height, situated close to the house on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden. The tree is a little out of shape.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Reduce in height by up to 1.5m and the side growth rounded off proportionally, including the removal of dead wood. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.
T2. Remove and the roots grubbed out.
T3. Reduce in height by approximately 2m and re-shape as a smaller specimen or remove altogether with the roots being grubbed out.
T4. Reduce in height by approximately 2m and the side growth trimmed back proportionally to form a more compact specimen against the garden wall. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.
Details of Replacement Required
None. Replacement trees are not necessary as the garden is well stocked with trees
