T2.          Lightly thin by up to 15% including the removal of dead wood and necessary trimming back long lateral branches encroaching towards the tennis court.  The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points.

T3.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and badly pruned branches, also lifting low branches up to approximately 5m above ground level.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T4.          Low growth to be removed up to approximately 5-6m above ground level by pruning at the main trunk.  The height and basic shape should be retained.
