Alleyn Park, 66
Proposal:
T1. Three reasonably mature Cypress trees approximately 10m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden. The tree in the left-hand corner has suffered severe wind damage.
T2. A Tree Privet (Ligustrum lucidum) approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Remove tree in left-hand corner and the stump ground out.
T2. Lightly thin by 15% including the lifting of low branches, removal of dead wood and water shoots and necessary tidying. The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round pollarding which is not permitted.
As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a nearby location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Crataegus prunifolia (Cockspur Thorn)
Acer davidii (Snakebark Maple)
Koelreuteria paniculata (Pride of India)
Status:
Approved
