Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A triple stemmed Silver Birch tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated very close to the left hand corner of the house.  The tree is very close to the house.  A group of Evergreen shrubs situated close to the Silver Birch on the left-hand side boundary.

T2.          A False Acacia tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the front left-hand corner adjacent to Alleyn Road.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T3.          A Purple Plum tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated in a central location on the front boundary.  The tree is a little dense.

T4.          Two Oak trees approximately 16m in height, situated on opposite sides midway down the rear garden. The trees are a little dense and low growing.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.  The evergreen shrubs may also be removed with the roots grubbed out.

T2.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary trimming back from a Purple Plum tree in the centre of the garden. The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T3.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and water shoots.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T4.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and lifting of low branches.  The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

Details of Replacement Required

None.  The garden is well stocked with trees.
