Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.       Two mature Plane trees approximately 16m in height, situated on the bottom boundary towards the right-                    hand side of the rear garden.  The trees are a little dense and wide-spreading.

T2.       A Lime tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden.  The                  tree is a little dense and low growing.

T3.       An Ash tree approximately 16m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.

T4.       A Weeping Ash tree approximately 9m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.

T5.       Two columnar Cypress trees approximately 6m in height, situated towards the bottom of the rear garden in                  front of the rear elevation of the garage.  The trees are a little too tall.

Description of Approved Works

T1.       Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood, lifting of low branches, and necessary re-shaping, the              height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points,                  rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T2.       Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood, base growth, and lifting of low branches over the adjacent road and footpath.  The height may be reduced to previous pruning points in the upper crown.

T3.       No work is necessary apart from removal of dead wood.

T4.       No work is necessary apart from removal of dead wood.

T5.       Reduce in height by 2m.
