Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.       A Weeping Birch tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the rear garden close to the house.

T2.       A Willow tree approximately 4m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading over the boundary hedge.

T3.       A Tulip tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the rear garden.

T4.       A Weeping Pear tree approximately 6m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the rear garden.

T5.       A Buckeye tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is a little tall and wide-spreading.

T6.       A Holm Oak tree approximately 12m in height, situated in the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide-spreading.

T7.       A Eucalyptus tree approximately 20m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is very large for a small garden.

T8.       A twin-stemmed False Acacia tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the right-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense.

T9.       A Winter Flowering Cherry tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the front boundary with Burbage Road.

Description of Approved Works

T1.       Re-shape to form a more compact specimen.

T2.       Trim back from the hedge and re-shape as necessary.

T3.       Lightly thin by 15%.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T4.       Reduce all round by up to 0.75m including necessary re-shaping.

T5.       Reduce all round by up to 2m and re-shape as a more formal specimen.

T6.       Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T7.       Reduce in height by up to 4m including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.  Alternatively, consideration can be given to its complete removal on the proviso that a suitable tree is replanted nearby.

T8.       Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and lifting of low branches.  The height and basic shape should be retained. http://www.bricksite.com/toiletpartitions
