Species and Location of Trees
Front Garden
T15. A Winter flowering Cherry tree approximately 5.5m in height, situated on the front boundary. The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.
T18. A Maidenhair tree (Ginkgo) approximately 5.5m in height and an Oak sapling approximately 4m in height, both situated too close to the house.
Rear Garden
T1. A Birch tree approximately 5m in height, situated close to the house on the left- hand side of the garden. The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.
T2. A Japanese Maple approximately 2.5m in height.
T4. A variegated Willow tree approximately 4m in height, situated on the left-side boundary.
T7. A Weeping ornamental Pear tree approximately 5.5m in height. The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.
T8. A Buckeye tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated close to the bottom left-hand corner of the garden. The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.
T10. A Purple Plum tree approximately 6m in height, situated in a central location on the bottom boundary. The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.
T13. A Yellow False Acacia tree approximately 15m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary midway down the garden. The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.
Description of Approved Works
Front Garden
T15. Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping. The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
T18. Remove both trees.
Rear Garden
T1. Reduce all round by 1m including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.
T2. Lightly thin and re-shape.
T4. Reduce all round by 1m including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.
T7. Reduce all round by approximately 2m including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.
T8. Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping. The height and basic shape should be retained.
