Species and Location of Trees

A group of two Golden Lawson Cypress trees approximately 6m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary midway down the rear garden.  The trees have outgrown their location to the side of the swimming pool with roots lifting poolside paving.

Description of Approved Works

Remove.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removals of the above, two replacement trees are to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the four alternative species for consideration:

Pyrus Chanticleer                             (Chanticleer Pear)

Acer griseum                                      (Paperbark Maple)

Prunus Sunset Boulevard              (Fastigiate Cherry)

Prunus cerasifera                             (Cherry Plum)

The new trees should be planted during the November 2024 and March 2025 planting season with a stem girth of between 12-14cm.
