Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         An Ash tree approximately 8m in height, situated along the left-hand boundary of the rear garden (the fourth tree along).

T2.         An Ash tree approximately 9m in height, situated along the left-hand boundary of the rear garden (the third tree along).

T3.         An Ash tree approximately 9m in height situated along the left-hand boundary of the rear garden (the second tree along).

Description of Approved Works

Details of Replacement Required

T1.         As a condition of the removal of (T1) above, a replacement tree is to be planted as close as possible to the location of the existing tree and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Prunus serrula                 (Tibetan Cherry)

Acer griseum                   (Paperbark Maple)

Amelanchier lamarckii   (Snowy Mespilus)

T2.         As a condition of the removal of (T2) above, a replacement tree is to be planted as close as possible to the location of the existing tree and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Betula sp                          (Birch)

Ginkgo biloba                  (Maidenhair tree)

Liquidambar styraciflua (Sweet Gum)

T3.         As a condition of the removal of (T3) above, a replacement tree is to be planted as close as possible to the location of the existing tree and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Malus sp.                         (Crab Apple)

Cercis siliquastrum         (Judas tree)

Eriobotrya japonica        (Locquat tree)

The new trees should be planted with a stem girth of between 12-14cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
