Proposal:
Species and Location of Trees
T1. A Purple Plum tree approximately 10m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary. The tree is a little tall and dense.
T2. A Cordyline Palm tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary, The tree is a little tall and out of shape.
T3. A triple stemmed Wild Plum tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary towards the bottom of the rear garden.
T4. A mature Goat Willow tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary. The tree is very dense and wide spreading.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Crown thin by 25% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping. The height may be reduced by up to 2m however, it is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than pollarding which is not permitted.
T2. Reduce in height by up to 50% and re-shape as necessary.
T3. Remove two of the stems and re-shape the third stem as necessary.
T4. Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary shortening of long lateral branches encroaching towards newly planted Silver Birch trees. The height and basic shape should be retained.
