Proposal:
Species and Location of Trees
T1. A row of six mature Lime trees approximately 10m – 12m in height, situated on the front boundary with Champion Hill. The trees are a little dense and tall.
T2. One of the six Lime trees (T1) situated to the left side when viewed from the road has caused the retaining wall to bulge out towards the public footpath.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Five trees to be re-pollarded at previous pruning points some 8m above ground level, including the removal of dead wood, base growth and necessary re-shaping.
T2. Remove and the stump removed as a whole or ground out.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree must should be planted further from the wall and below is the agreed alternative specie:
Tilia x euchlora (Lime)
The tree should be planted with a stem girth of 16-18cm at 1m above ground level and at a height of 3.5m.
