Proposal:

Species and Location of Tree

T1.         A Eucalyptus tree approximately 22m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense.

T2.         A Yew tree approximately 9m in height, situated on the lower left-side of garden.  The tree has an unbalanced crown.

T3.         A Conifer tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the lower right-hand boundary of the rear garden.  The tree has significant dieback.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Selective crown thinning up to 20% to improve light penetration and enhance the tree’s appearance.

T2.         Trim overgrown branches on the east side by up to 2.5m and other longer branches by up to 1.5m. This will help improve balance and overall shape.

T3.         Remove.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of (T3) above, two replacement trees are to be planted in the same location of the rear garden and below are the agreed specie:

Portuguese Laurel trees

The new trees should be planted during the November 2024 and March 2025 planting season at a minimum height of 2m.
