Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A Yew tree approximately 10m in height, situated close to the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is poorly shaped.

T2.         A self-sown Elder tree approximately 6m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is badly sited.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Remove and the stump ground out.

T2.         Remove and the stump ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

T1.         As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a nearby location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Paulownia tomentosa    (Foxglove tree)

Albizzia julibrissin           (Silk tree)

Koelreuteria paniculata (Pride of India)

T2.         None.  The garden is well stocked.
