Proposal:
Specie and Location of Tree
A Silver Birch tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated in the left-hand corner of the front garden adjacent to Court Lane. The tree shed a large bough in recent winds which revealed a significant hole at the main trunk, thereby rendering the tree unsafe bearing in mind its location next to the road and footpath.
Description of Approved Works
Remove and the stump ground out.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a nearby location of the front garden and below is the agreed specie for consideration:
Laburnum x vossii (Golden Chain)
The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
