Species and Location of Trees
T1. A Hawthorn tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the front boundary with Court Lane. The tree has extensive decay in the lower trunk and is leaning at an acute angle towards the road.
T2. A Cherry tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated midway down the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden. The tree is in poor condition.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Remove and the stump ground out.
T2. Remove and the stump either ground out or poisoned.
Details of Replacement Required
T1. As a condition of the removal of (T1), a replacement tree should be planted close to the front boundary and below are the three-alternative species for consideration:
Crataegus prunifolia (Cockspur Thorn)
Sorbus aucuparia (Rowan)
Magnolia x soulangeana (Deciduous Magnolia)
T2. As a condition of the removal of (T2), a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three-alternative species for consideration:
Salix matsudana ‘Tortuosa’ (Twisted Willow)
Alnus glutinosa (Common Alder)
Amelanchier lamarckii (Snowy Mespilus)
