Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A triple stemmed Eucalyptus tree approximately 18m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary midway down the rear garden.  The tree is too large for its location.

Description of Approved Works

Remove by felling at ground level.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Betula jacquemontii                     (Silver Birch)

Paulownia tomentosa                                              (Foxglove tree)

Acer davidii                                    (Snake bark Maple)

The new tree should be planted during the November 2023 and March 2023 planting season with a stem girth of between 16-18cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
