Proposal:
Species and Location of Trees
T1. A Weeping Willow tree approximately 16m in height, situated in a central location towards the bottom of the rear garden. Roots have been located in trial holes thus implicating the tree as a contributory factor in the structural movement.
T2. A Cypress tree approximately 13m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden. The tree is situated too close to the property.
T3. A Leyland Cypress tree approximately 13m in height, situated close to the house on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden. The tree is situated too close to the house.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Remove and the roots grubbed out.
T2. Reduce in height by up to 3m and the side growth reduced proportionally to form a more compact specimen.
T3. Reduce in height by up to 3m and the side growth reduced proportionally to form a more compact specimen.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of (T1) above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below is the recommended specie:
Acer Rubrum (Redpoint)
The new tree should be planted during the November 2024 and March 2025 planting season with a stem girth of between 10-12cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
