Proposal:
Species and Location of Trees
T1. A Cherry tree approximately 3m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden. The tree will be too close to the new extension.
T2. A Maple tree approximately 12m in height, situated a little further down the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden. The tree is a little dense and covered in Ivy.
T3. A Sycamore tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden. The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.
T4. An old Goat Willow tree stump on the right-hand side boundary, and various small scrub saplings.
T5. Two Goat Willow trees approximately 5m and 12m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary midway down the rear garden.
T6. A Cherry tree approximately 6m in height, situated in the centre of the rear garden towards the bottom boundary. The tree is dead.
T7. A Purple Plum tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden. The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.
T8. A Malus tree approximately 4m in height, situated in a central location close to the bottom boundary of the rear garden.
T9. A small group of Ash saplings approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary midway down the rear garden.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Remove.
T2. Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and Ivy. The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T5. Both trees should be crown thinned by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping. The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
T6. Remove and the roots grubbed out.
T7. Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping. The height and basic shape should be retained.
T8. Lightly thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping. The height and basic shape should be retained.
T9. The whole of this group should be removed together with the roots being grubbed out.
N.B. Various small saplings with a stem diameter of less than 50mm at 1m above ground level may be removed where considered necessary.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removals of the above, a minimum of five replacement trees are to be planted during the November 2021 and March 2022 planting season with a stem girth of between 12-14cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 2.5m.
