Specie and Location of Trees
T1. A Holly tree approximately 3m in height, situated close to the house on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden. The tree is a little wide-spreading.
T2. A Mulberry tree approximately 6m in height, situated in the centre of the rear garden. The tree is a little dense.
T3. Two Laurel trees approximately 6m in height, situated in opposite corners at the bottom of the rear garden. The trees are a little tall and dense.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Cut back and clip to provide a more compact specimen. Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping. The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
T2. Lightly thin by up to 15% including the removal of dead wood and water shoots. The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
T3. Thin by up to 30% and reduce in height by up to 50% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.
