Species and Location of Trees
T1. A Yew tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary midway down the rear garden. The tree is dead.
T2. A Hawthorn tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the front boundary. The tree is dead.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Remove and the roots grubbed out.
T2. Remove and the roots grubbed out.
Details of Replacement Required
T1. As a condition of the removal of (T1), a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Amelanchier lamarkii (Snowy Mespilus)
Sorbus aucuparia (Rowan)
Magnolia soulangeana (Deciduous Magnolia)
T2. As a condition of the removal of (T2) above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Amelanchier lamarkii (Snowy Mespilus)
Sorbus aucuparia (Rowan)
Magnolia soulangeana (Deciduous Magnolia)
The new trees should be planted during the November 2023 and March 2024 planting season with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
