Species and Location of Tree

A Poplar tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the front garden close to the road.  The tree is leaning at an acute angle towards the garden of no.2.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the roots ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Betula jacquemontii       (Silver Birch)

Fagus Dawyck Purple      (Purple Beech (columnar))

Paulownia tomentosa    (Foxglove tree)

The new tree should be planted during the November 2022 and March 2023 planting season with a stem girth of between 16-18cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
