Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A Golden Catalpa tree approximately 8m in height, situated in the rear right-hand side of the garden.

Description of Approved Works

Trim the branches overhanging the garden on the southern side by up to 1m.  Additionally, removing some of the tallest branches will reduce the overall height by about 1m while maintaining a natural look.  Dead wood also to be removed.  It is crucial to prune branches at convenient growth points rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
