Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A Walnut tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the front boundary with Croxted Road.  The tree is dead.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the stump ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location on the front boundary and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Liquidambar styraciflua                                 (Sweet Gum)

Betula jacquemontii                                       (Silver Birch)

Prunus cerasifera ‘Atropurpurea’              (Purple Plum)

The tree should be planted during the November 2022 and March 2023 planting season with a stem girth of between 16-18cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
