Proposal:
Species and Location of Trees
T1. A Magnolia tree approximately 7m in height, situated on the left-hand side to the rear of the property. The tree is too close to the neighbours’ building and planned extension.
T2. A Hawthorn tree approximately 5m in height, situated in a central position to the rear of the property.
T3. 4 x Conifer stumps approximately 2m in height, situated on the right-hand boundary of the rear garden.
T4. An Olive tree approximately 3m in height, situated in a central position of the front garden. The tree is overgrown and has lost shape.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Remove.
T2. Trim branches all over removing up to 1m of growth and thinning by 10% to improve shape and health.
T3. Remove to facilitate planting of the replacement tree (T1).
T4. Trim longer branches all over by up to 1m to improve shape.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of (T1) above, a replacement tree is to be planted on the right-hand side of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Sorbus aucuparia (Rowan)
Acer campestre (Field Maple)
Malus sylvestris (Crab Apple)
The new tree should be planted during the November 2024 and March 2025 planting season with a stem girth of between 14/16 cm.
