Proposal:
Species and Location of Trees
T1. A Horse Chestnut tree approximately 6m in height, situated in a central location on the front boundary with Dulwich Common. The tree is a little wide spreading.
T2. A Holm Oak tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden. The tree is a little tall and dense.
T3. A triple stemmed conifer tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated close to the pond on the right-hand side of the rear garden. The tree is dead.
T4. A Conifer tree, possibly a Cedar, and approximately 12m in height, situated to the rear of the garden outhouse. The tree is dead.
T5. A Lime tree approximately 15m in height, situated close to the house on the left-hand side boundary. The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.
T6. A Holm Oak tree approximately 12m in height, situated close to the Lime tree above (T5). The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Long lateral side branches to be trimmed back by up to 20% by pruning at convenient growth points, including the removal of dead wood. The height and basic shape should be retained.
T2. Crown reduce by 20% and round off to form a more compact specimen, including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.
T3. Remove and the roots grubbed out.
T4. Remove and the roots grubbed out.
T5. Crown thin by 25% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping. The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

Details of Replacement Required
T3. As a condition of the removal of (T3) above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Pauownia tomentosa (Foxglove tree)
Weeping Willow (Salix x chrysocoma)
Liwuidambar styraciflua (Sweet Gum of N America)
T4. As a condition of the removal of (T4) above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Pinus sylvestris (Scots Pine)
Liriodendron tulipifera (Tulip tree)
Fagus sylvatica (Beech)
The new trees should be planted this planting season between November and March with a 16-18cm girth at 1m above ground level and a minimum height of 4m.
