Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A Horse Chestnut tree approximately 15m in height, situated close to the house on the left-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is dead.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the stump ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Liriodendron tulipifera                   (Tulip tree)

Gingko biloba                                     (Maidenhair tree)

Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Frisia’       (Yellow False Acacia)

The new tree should be planted during the next planting season between November 2021 and March 2022 with a stem girth of between 16-18cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
