Eastlands Crescent, 20

Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

Front garden

T1.         A Yew tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T2.         Two Cherry trees both approximately 6m in height, situated on the front boundary with Eastlands Crescent to the right of the entrance.

Rear Garden

T1.         Two Oak trees situated together on the left-hand side boundary.  The tree closest to the boundary is a fine upright specimen approximately 12m in height.

The adjacent Oak to the right is growing over the lawn in horizontal form.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood.  The height may be reduced by up to 1.5m including the shortening of long lateral branches to provide a more compact specimen.  The basic shape should be retained.

T2.         No work is necessary apart from the removal of deadwood.

Rear Garden

T1.         No work is necessary apart from the removal of deadwood.

The adjacent Oak should be significantly reduced in length in order to lessen the weight at the    extremities.  Alternatively, the tree may be removed altogether.  The tree should also be thoroughly checked for any decay.

Details of Replacement Required

If the tree is removed then a replacement tree will need to be agreed.
