Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Honey Locust tree (Gleditsia) approximately 12m in height, situated in a central location on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.

T2.          A twin-stemmed Silver Birch tree approximately 6m in height, situated close to the house on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Lightly thin by 10% including the removal of dead wood, lifting of low branches, including one low branch overhanging the adjacent garden in Eastlands Crescent.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T2.          Lightly thin by 10% including the lifting of 3 low branches on the left-hand trunk and 2 low branches on the right-hand trunk.  The height and basic shape should be retained.
