Species and Location of Trees

G5.        Eight semi-mature Sycamore trees ranging from 7.5m to 10m in height, situated as a large group in the southern section of the site.

T1.         Ash tree.

T3.         Birch tree..

Description of Approved Works

G5.        Remove and the stumps ground out.

T1.         Fell to the ground.

T3.         Fell to the ground level as part of the landscape works.

T4.         Thin the crown and remove all dead wood, lift low branches to approximately 10m above ground level.

T10.      Prune back to live growth.

T18.      Thin the crown and remove all dead wood, lift low branches to approximately 10m above ground level.

T20.      Remove epicormic growth and crown reduce by up to 6m together with necessary re-shaping.

T27.      Remove epicormic growth and crown reduce by up to 6m together with necessary re-shaping and lifting of low branches to 2.5m above ground level.

Details of Replacement Required

G5.        As a condition of the removals of (G5) above, at least eight replacement trees should be planted.  The species are to be agreed.

T3.         Replacement tree detail to be included within the landscape scheme.
