Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A mature and multi-stemmed Goat Willow tree approximately 10m in height, situated in a central location close to the bottom boundary of the rear garden. The tree has failed and fallen into the garden.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the stump ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a suitable location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Crataegus prunifolia (Cockspur Thorn)
Betula jacquemontii (Silver Birch)
Arbutus unedo (Strawberry tree (Evergreen))

The tree should be planted during the November 2021 and March 2022 planting season with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m
