Proposal:
Species and Location of Trees
T1. A Silver Birch tree approximately 9m in height, situated in the bottom right-hand corner of the garden within the compound area at the lower end. The tree is dead,
T2. A Silver Birch tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated at the bottom of the garden adjacent to two multi-stemmed Silver Birch trees. The tree is dead.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Remove by felling at ground level.
T2. Remove by felling at ground level.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removals of the above, two replacement trees are to be planted in suitable locations and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Betula jacquemonti (Silver Birch (multi-stemmed))
Ginkgo biloba (Maidenhair tree)
Catalpa bignonioides (Indian Bean tree)
The trees should be planted during the November 2021 and March 2022 planting season with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m
