Species and Location of Trees

A Cypress hedge along the left-hand side of the front boundary.

Description of Approved Works

The hedge may be removed on the proviso that it is not replaced with a fence and a hedge must be planted.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement hedge is to be planted along the left-hand side of the front boundary garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Taxus baccata (Yew)
Ligustrum ovalifolium (Privet)
Prunus lusitanica (Portugal Laurel)

The hedge should be planted at suitable centres, mature specimens can be obtained from either Readyhedge Ltd on 01386 750585, or Wyevale Nurseries on 01432 845200. New plants should be bushy specimens with at least five breaks in the lower third and be planted at a minimum height of 1.5m.
