Proposal:
Species and Location of Trees
T1. A twin-stemmed Oak tree approximately 12m in height, situated close to Fountain Drive on the left-hand side boundary of the front garden. The tree appears to be dying.
T2. An Ornamental Cypress tree approximately 12m in height, situated in the rear garden in close proximity to the rear of the property. The tree is too large for its location.
T3. An Apple tree next to (T2) above. The tree is dead.
T4. A multi-stemmed Bay tree approximately 16m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden. The tree is in poor health with several stems dying, including one main stem which is already dead.
T5. A False Acacia tree approximately 15m in height, situated close to the bottom right-hand corner of the rear garden.
T6. A False Acacia tree approximately 15m in height, situated close to the bottom right-hand corner of the rear garden.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Remove or reduce in height by at least 50% in order to make the tree safe.
T2. Remove and the stump ground out if possible.
T3. Remove
T4. Reduce in height by up to 50% in order to try and invigorate some new growth. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.
T5. Removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping. The basic shape should be retained.
T6. Remove one main trunk at ground level, together with the removal of all dead wood and necessary re-shaping. The basic shape should be retained
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removals of the above, replacement trees are to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the agreed alternative species for consideration:
Fagus sylvatica ‘Pupurea (Purple Beech)
Pinus sylvestris (Scots Pine)
Liriodendron tulipifera (Tulip tree)
Catalpa bignonioides (Indian Bean tree)
Tilia cordata (Small leaved Lime)
Quercus cerris (Turkey Oak)
