Proposal:
Species and Location of Trees
T1. A Box Elder tree (Acer nedundo) approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden within a large Cypress hedge. The tree is badly sited .
T2. A Cypress tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the front boundary with Hitherwood Drive. The tree is a little wide spreading.
T3. A Silver Birch tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the front boundary to the right of the (T2) above. The tree is a little dense.
T4. A Purple Plum tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the front boundary to the right of (T3) above. The tree is very dense and wide spreading.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Remove.
T2. Clip back as much as possible whilst retaining green foliage and not exposing the inner dead wood, also low branches may be lifted.
T3. Lightly thin by 10% including the removal of any dead wood and necessary re-shaping. The height and basic shape should be retained.
T4. Crown thin by 30% including the removal of dead wood and water shoots. The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
