Species and Location of Trees
Linley Court
T1. An Oak tree approximately 15m in height, situated on the right-hand side of the block close to the access road to the garages. The tree is a little wide-spreading.
T2. An Oak tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the right-hand side of the block close to the flank wall.
T3. A Sorbus tree approximately 6m in height, situated close to the rear left-hand corner of the block. The tree is a little wide-spreading.
T4. A Pine tree approximately 16m in height, situated close to the front left-hand corner of the block near Little Bornes.
Whitfield Court
T5. A Prunus tree approximately 9m in height, situated on the right-hand side of the block close to the rear corner. The tree is a poor specimen covered in Ivy and sited too close to the building.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary shortening of long lateral branches encroaching towards the rear corner of the block. The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
T2. Removal of dead wood only.
T3. Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary shortening of long lateral branches encroaching towards the rear corner of the block. The height and basic shape should be retained. It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
T4. Branches encroaching towards the block in the upper crown are shortened by up to 20% including the removal of dead wood. The height and basic shape should be retained.
T5. The tree can be either removed or crown thinned by 25% including the removal of dead wood and Ivy, and necessary trimming back from the building. The height and basic shape should be retained.
