Proposal:
Species and Location of Trees
T1. A Cypress tree approximately 9m in height, situated close to the property on the left-hand side boundary. The tree is a little too large for its location.
T2. A Yucca tree (Palm) approximately 6m in height, situated close to the property on the right-hand side boundary. The tree is a little too large for its location.
T3. A Eucalyptus tree approximately 15m in height, situated midway down the right- hand side boundary. The tree is a little too large for its location.
T4/5. A Pittosporum tree in the bottom right-hand corner of the rear garden and a Yew tree adjacent to (T1) above.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Remove and the roots grubbed out.
T2. Remove and the roots grubbed out.
T3. Remove and the roots grubbed out.
T4/5. Both trees should be retained in their present form and no work is permitted at the present time.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removals of the above, two replacement trees are to be planted as follows:-
Front Garden – In the right-hand front corner adjacent to Lordship Lane:
Tilia cordata (Small leafed Lime)
Cercis siliquastrum (Judas tree)
Davidia involucrate (Pocket Handkerchief tree)
Rear garden
Liquidambar styraciflua (Sweet Gum)
Corylus colurna (Turkish Hazel)
Sorbus aria (Whitebeam)
The new trees should be planted during the November 2023 and March 2024 planting season with a stem girth of between 16-18cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
