Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Cherry tree approximately 6m in height, situated between nos. 5 & 6.

T2.          A Sorbus tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated between nos. 7 & 8.

T3.          A Bay tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated between nos. 7 & 8  The tree is a little tall.

T4.          A Sorbus tree approximately 8m in height, situated between nos. 7 & 8.  The tree is a little dense.

T5.          A Bay tree approximately 6m in height, situated opposite no.9.  The tree is a little too tall.

T6.          A variegated Acer tree approximately 6m in height, situated in the paved area.

T7.          A Bay tree approximately 6m in height,  situated opposite the main entrance.

T8.          A Willow tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated opposite the main entrance.

T9.          A Tibetan Cherry tree approximately 6m in height, situated opposite the main entrance.

T10.        A Silver Birch tree approximately 10m in height, situated to the left side.

T11.        A Crab Apple tree approximately 6m in height, situated to the left side.

T12.        A Cherry tree approximately 5m in height, situated to the left side.

T13.        A Tibetan Cherry tree approximately 6m in height, situated to the left.

T14.        A Cherry tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated to the left side.

T15.        A Tibetan Cherry tree approximately 5.5m in height, situated to the left.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Removal of water shoots and any dead wood, no other work is necessary.

T2.          No work is required at the present time.

T3.          Reduce in height by up to 30% and round off proportionally.

T4.          Crown thin by 30% including the removal of dead wood and water shoots, lifting of low branches, and necessary re-shaping.  The height may be reduced by 20%, by pruning at convenient growth points.

T5.          Reduce in height by up to 30% and rounded off proportionally.  Selected small stems should be severed at the base of the trunk.

T6.          No work is necessary at the present time.

T7.          Reduce in height by up to 30% and clipped to a more formal shape.

T8.          Trim back from the adjacent Bay tree including the removal of dead wood and water shoots.

T9.          Removal of dead wood and water shoots.

T10.        No work is necessary at the present time.

T11.        No work is necessary at the present time.  A Magnolia tree situated close by should be reduced from the car park area.

T12.        Low growth is lifted over the gardens and re-shaped as necessary.

T13.        No work is necessary at the present time.

T14.        No work is necessary at the present time.

T15.        Lightly reduce from overhanging the adjacent garden whilst retaining the natural balance.
