Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A multi-stemmed Cherry tree approximately 6m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the rear garden.

T2.         An Oak tree approximately 13m in height, situated on the left-hand boundary of the rear garden.

T3.         A multi-stemmed tree approximately 3m in height, situated in the far left-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is dead and covered in Ivy.

T4.         A Hawthorn tree approximately 6m in height, situated in the far right-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is a poor specimen, badly shaped with lots of dead wood.

T5.         Ash trees (multiple) approximately 12m in height, situated along the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         The two stems growing into the garden showing die-back to be carefully removed at the base leaving the upright main stems in place.

T2.         Dead wood to be removed together with a light thinning of up to 10% of the lateral branches where necessary.

T3.         Remove.

T4.         Remove.

T5.         Dead wood to be removed and 6 of the longest branches growing into the garden removed back to a side branch nearer the centre of the tree to give a tidy appearance and improve light into the garden.

Details of Replacement Required

None.   Replacement trees are not necessary as the garden is well stocked with trees.
