Proposal:
Species and Location of Trees
T1. A Mimosa tree approximately 9m in height, situated in the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden. The tree is leaning at an acute angle into the house and resting on the roof guttering.
T2. A Malus tree approximately 5m in height, situated in a central bed in the front garden, close to the road. The tree is dead.
Description of Approved Works
T1. Remove and the roots grubbed out.
T2. Remove and the roots grubbed out.
Details of Replacement Required
T1. None. The rear garden is well stocked with mature trees.
T2. As a condition of the removal of (T2) above, a replacement tree should be planted in a nearby location of the front garden and below is the agreed specie for consideration:
Betula pendula ‘Youngii’ (Weeping Birch)
The new tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m. The new tree should be planted during the November 2022 and March 2023 planting season.
