Proposal:
Specie and Location of Tree
A Horse Chestnut tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the road frontage to the left of the entrance off Croxted Road.
Description of Approved Works
Fell at ground level and the stump ground out.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of the above, two replacement trees are to be planted in convenient locations bordering Croxted Road and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Tilia x euchlora (Lime (non-drop))
Plantanus x hispanica (London Plane)
Acer platanoides ‘Drummondii’ (Norway Maple)
The new trees should be planted with a stem girth of between 18-22cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m. The new trees should be planted during the November 2021 and March 2022 planting season.
