Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A Beech tree approximately 15m in height.  The tree is implicated in subsidence to the front bay and corner of the property.  Movement being indicated as slight.

Description of Approved Works

Removal would be acceptable should a suitable replacement be planted.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted.  This should be planted a suitable distance from the site of damage, i.e. 10m from the house.  There is no evidence that replacement planting must be any further than this.  However in order to abate concerns, a root barrier may also be installed as indicated in the attached diagram
