Specie and Location of Tree

An Oak tree approximately 9m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is very dense.

Description of Approved Works

Crown thin by approximately 30% including the removal of any dead wood and epicormic growth, lifting of low wide spreading branches by pruning at the main trunk, and the necessary shaping of the tree, ensuring the height and basic shape is retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
