Specie and Location of Tree
A Weeping Willow tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the front garden just inside the main entrance off Woodhall Drive. The tree is dead.
Description of Approved Works
Remove and the roots grubbed out.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a suitable location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Salix x chrysocoma (Golden Weeping Willow)
Liriodendron tulipifera (Tulip tree)
Fagus sylvatica ‘Atropurpurea’ (Purple Beech)
The tree should be planted this planting season between November 2020 and March 2021 with a stem girth of between 20-22cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 4m.
