Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.       A Weeping Willow tree approximately 12m in height, situated close to the house on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is a little tall and dense.

T2.       Three False Acacia trees approximately 9m in height, situated within the Oak woodland forming a copse on the right-hand side of the rear garden.  The trees are dead or dying,

T3.       Three Oak saplings approximately 6m in height, situated in the copse on the right-hand side of the rear garden.  The trees are dead.

T4.       An Ash tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  The trees have low branches.

T5.       Four Oak trees approximately 12m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the copse in the rear garden.  The trees have low branches

T6.       A Sequoia tree approximately 9m in height, situated very close to the house in the rear garden.

T7.       A Weeping Willow approximately 16m in height, situated in the side part of the garden to the right-hand side of the house and on the left-hand side boundary of the front garden.  The tree is a little tall and dense.

T8.       Two Hornbeam trees approximately 15m in height, situated on the right-hand side of the front driveway. 

T9.       A False Acacia tree approximately 15m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the front driveway.

Description of Approved Works

 T1.       Crown thin by approximately 30% including the removal of dead wood, lifting of low branches and necessary re-shaping of the tree.  The height may be reduced by up to 30% by removing the vertical growth in the upper crown whilst retaining the natural weeping shape.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.

T2.       Remove by felling at ground level.

T3.       Remove by felling at ground level.

T4.       Low branches to be lifted tm above ground level.

T5.       Low branches to be lifted tm above ground level.  All dead wood to be removed from the remaining Oak trees in the copse area.

T6.       Remove by felling at ground level.

T9.       Crown thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood and dead Ivy.  The height and basic shape should be retained.
