Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A Cherry tree approximately 7m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the front garden.  The tree has been implicated in subsidence issues at the neighbouring property as well as drainage problems.

Description of Approved Works

Remove.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a comparable location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

 

Mespilus germanica        (Medlar)

Acer Griseum                     (Paperbark Maple)

Amelanchier lamarkii      (June Berry)

 

The new tree should be planted during the November 2024 and March 2025 planting season with a stem girth of between 10-12cm at 1m above ground level.
