If you are selling a property

When you sell a leasehold home, it is important for your solicitor to request a pre-sale enquiry pack as it contains essential information to pass on to the buyer, such as:

  • standard lease and management details
  • copies of statements and circulars
  • information about service charges, and
  • insurance information.

In addition, the Estate is pleased to answer specific solicitor enquiries.

Additional information fees

  • Administration fee per additional query

Please note that the Estate will not apportion charges relation to different periods of ownership. This should be dealt with by the vendor and purchaser.

 

If you are buying a property

Register a change of ownership and mortgage provider

When any property on the Estate changes hands, the new owners must register within two months. You must also register your mortgage provider and account number.

Registration is usually dealt with by the purchaser's solicitor, who should contact our solicitors at:

For ownership registration you must:

  • provide a copy of the Transfer or the Title Information Document issued by the Land Registry together with a copy of any mortgage of the property and
  • pay the fee as advised by your solicitor, according to the lease, toThackray Williams LLP to complete the registration process.

Please note that we will not apportion charges relating to different periods of ownership. This should be dealt with by the vendor and purchaser.

To register your mortgage provider and account number you must:

  • Provide a copy of your mortgage provider details/new account details to the Estate's solicitors
  • Pay the fee as specified on the lease, to Thackray Williams LLP to complete the registration process

Register a change of mortgage provider or account number

If you are a leaseholder and change your mortgage this must be registered with the Estate solicitors.
