Community support for Village event

Annual festive gathering, the Dulwich Village Christmas Stocking, attracted more than 1000 visitors at the start of December. More than 30 businesses and independent traders, schools, community groups and organisations joined in the event, each bringing something special. Those working hard behind the scenes to organise the community event included several members of the Dulwich Traders Association and The Dulwich Estate. Southwark Council and Knight Frank supported through sponsorship which helped light up the Village and provide entertainment. Gail’s Bakery supplied refreshments to talented musicians from Alleyn’s, Dulwich College, Dulwich Hamlet, JAGS and Popchoir and money was raised for two charities, KingFishers and LinkAge Southwark.
